RopeClimber
Description
The ACE RopeClimber is both a stand-alone descender rig and an accessory to our hanging TrackRunner. The rig has a German Engineering Safety Stamp that certifies it has been tested safe to fly over people’s heads. The winch is rated at 10 times safety and has 2 emergency brakes for backup. It can lift/lower our Stab-C Compact with a full camera package when mounted on the ACE TrackRunner at speeds greater than 3.5 feet per second while trucking at a speed of 20 feet per second all the while maintaining a completely stable picture throughout the zoom range. This combination of the ACE TrackRunner and the Rope Climber is a perfect combination for Directors looking for dynamic helicopter style shots where flying rigs are too expensive or are unable to be rigged in the venue.
